VERTICAL STIRRED MILL

Vertical Stirred Mill (VSM) enables milling to fine and ultrafine particle sizes down to submicron average size. Minerals of one type are usually naturally interlocked with minerals of another type. For a variety of reasons, TH Re-MINING aims to frequently produce a concentrate of a specific target mineral that is not contaminated with undesirable minerals. In this case, the mineral must be sufficiently liberated. When the desired particle size is around 10 microns or less, common more cost-effective industrial mills (e.g., ball mills) are inefficient. At TH Re-MINING, we run the VSM either continuously in a closed or open loop, or in batches. Grinding efficiency is highly correlated with the type and size of grinding media (0,5mm is our finest), viscosity, stirring speed, and VSM design.
