About Methods Projects
X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) is a non-destructive laboratory technique that provides us with detailed information about the crystallographic structure, chemical composition, and physical properties of the material. When performing the X-ray diffraction analysis, TH Re-MINING collaborates with the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering and only provides you with the interpretation of results. The XRD analysis enables us to identify various materials based on their so-called diffraction pattern. This also gives us a better insight into how the actual structure of the material deviates from the ideal one due to defects and internal stresses. The method is used for analyzing a wide range of materials, from solids to powders and nanomaterials. The XRD diffraction method enables us to characterize and determine crystalline material properties such as crystal structure, crystal size, size and shape of individual grains, strain, phase compositions, orientations, etc.
XRD machine delivers the info about the crystallographic structure, chemical composition, and physical properties of the material.
