MICRO-MGS

Multi-Gravity Separator, otherwise, also known as MGS, is used for fine mineral gravity concentration combining the centrifugal motion with the oscillating motion. This allows an enhanced gravity separation of fine particles as the MGS separate them by density and weight, which can be used for any dry material. In the field of mining and mineral processing, TH Re-MINING performs gravity separation to separate tailings from the particles of valuable materials. When feeding ground ores into suspension the gangue particles have a lower density and therefore tend to float while valuable materials with a higher density sink and can easily be removed. Gravity test procedures that we use can vary depending on the type of equipment being used. Generally, a known amount of material is processed by the gravity concentration equipment, resulting in a concentrate and tailings product. The concentrate and tailings are then weighed, dried, and assayed to determine final constituent mass balances and recoveries. At TH Re-MINING, we have experience with all types of equipment and will tailor your testing program based on the type of ore. Gravity separation recoveries are often significantly impacted by the feed size of the material. Additionally, we can also provide extended gravity recoverable gold testing and gravity process circuit modeling.
